Applying our french (darkest) roast to a combination of premium coffees from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Guatemala produces a full and sweet body with a unique floral acidity and mild undertones. This is Brian's third personally-developed blend using the highest grade "Strictly Hard Bean" coffees from Honduras and Guatemala with the Dominican Bani which is highly sought as a base for blends.

Round #01
Bunn MCP: 6oz, tea setting.
First cup in the morning is a tough spot. Let's see what this French Roast can offer.
Pod smells sweet actually. Maybe even a bit berries.
Some smoke, a very vague note of chocolate and something I'm not able to pin point. Spice perhaps?
Very smoky first impression.
Aftertaste is most of all a symphony of spice with a bit of char and some smoke.
Full body and nice sweetness.
The description says floral acidity and I have to agree with that one.
Delicious aftertaste. Mostly spice.
Another great dark roasted coffee from JavaPodz.

Conclusion (Not final)
Any cup that survives my "First cup in the morning" test is a good one.
This one came with a full body and nice sweetness.
Aftertaste is most of all a symphony of spice with a bit of char and some smoke.
Another great dark roasted coffee from JavaPodz.
