Bright acidity. A very traditional dark roast in many ways. Maybe a bit bitter? All in all, not bad. But far from The Coffee Artisan's Dark Side. Round #02 Bunn MCP: 6oz, tea setting Smells rather spicy. Some smoke in there as well. Spice is the dominant aroma. This felt a bit weak, or thin to be correct. Some spice in the aftertaste.
