Round #01

This pod smells berries, and I don't mind :-)
No berries while brewing, but something best described as sweet and a bit of spice.
Heavy aromas of spice, maybe it's my fantasy but I thought I just got vague chocolate as well. And smoke, a bit smoke too.
Berries very clear in the first sips.
Charred and spicy aftertaste.
I would expect smoke in here, but can't find any.
Citrus acidity.
Flavors goes towards fruity as it cools a bit.
Spice is always very dominant.
Almost sweet now, halfway through my cup.
This is very good. Reminds me vaguely of Reunion Island's Espresso Dark Roast, but I prefer this one.

This is one of my favorite french roasts right now.
