This single-origin Brazil Santos is Italian Roasted to further develop the dark chocolate notes.  Low acidity and a full body with spicy undertones and a hint of smoke.

The pod smells excellent. Dry, sweet, warm and chocolaty.
Spicy aroma while brewing. Very heavy. Perhaps a distant note of smoke and something more like earth.
Very sweet. Dark and full. Very good chocolate.
Great, spicy aftertaste. Vague hints of smoke.
Silky smooth. Impressive body.
This is a very good cup of coffee.
The smoke appears clearer at the end, and concludes an excellent experience.

A good sniff of the pod returns a mix of dry, sweet, floral, spicy, warm and chocolaty potential greatness. 
Spicy, wet, chocolaty, sweet aroma
Floral nose, followed by dark chocolaty aftertaste
Now the spice appears and there is possible to get some vague smoke notes as well.
An impressive full body enters the stage and half-way through my cup there is a perfect balance
of sweet, spicy dark chocolate going on.
This one enters my top 5 dark roast pods without doubt.

Conclusion
The pod smells excellent. Dry, sweet, warm and chocolaty.
Heavy, spicy aroma with very distant hints of smoke.
Almost floral nose, followed by delicious dark chocolate in the aftertaste.
Half-way through my cup there is a smooth, full body with a perfect balance of sweetness, spice, dark chocolate and discrete smoke.
This one enters my top 5 dark roast pods.
